ITINERARY

Trekking tour in the chain of Kunguey Ala – Too. I’m Nomad invites you to discover the National Park Chon Kemin, Issyk-Kul and Son Kul Lake. During traveling, you are guaranteed exciting discoveries meeting with nomadic people. Starting with the national park, you will reach the Issyk-Kul lake on it’s foot, then the program takes to the destinations in a comfortable vehicle.

Program day by day:

Day 1: Bishkek – Chon-Kemin

Arrival to Bishkek. Meeting with guide translator and driver. Transfer to the center of Bishkek. Installation in a guest house for rest and shower. Lunch in a restaurant downtown. Transfer to Chon Kemin National Park. On the road visit Burana tower, dated from the11th century BC. At the end of the day, arriving to the village of Karool Dobo. Accommodation in a local homestay. Dinner and overnight in a local homestay.

 

Day 2: Chon Kemin – lake Kogur

Early morning after breakfast departure. We have a short transfer to the entrance of the valley. We load our stuffs on horse saddles. We are going through forests and green meadows. Outdoor picnic with a beautiful view on the nature. We move to a small pass before arriving to the camp near the lake. Dinner and overnight in tents at 2650m.

Day 3: Lake Kogur – valley Duyre – Lake Issyk-Kul:

In the the morning, we attack the Kol-Tor pass at 3240m. Walking downhill. Picnic lunch and after the pass. Near a sheepfold we meet our 4×4 driver, which leads us to the village of Tamchi. Accommodation in a local homestay. In late afternoon, we enjoy the ride near the lake Issyk-Kul. First curiosity of Kyrgyzstan. Dinner and overnight in a local homestay. Alt 1610m.

Day 4: Lake Issyk-Kul – Son Kul

After the breakfast, we drive to Son Kul lake, the capital of Nomad’s Land. On the way, we stop at Kochkor city to visit the hand craft Center and handcraft felt show. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, we reach Son Kul lake by the Kalmak Ashu pass at 3446m. Arrival and accommodation in the yurt camp on the southern shore of the lake.

Day 5: Lake Son Kul

in the morning, we leave our yurt camp for the hiking & exploring the area. Hiking as high as possible. Picnic in the mountains. In the afternoon, we came back to yurt camp to see the equestrian games. Overnight and dinner in the same places.

 

Day 6: Son Kul – Kuiruchuk

Morning departure. We drive the pass of Kara Keche at 3325m, having very nice view of the coal mine. Arriving to the village of Chaek, outdoor picnic on the route in the beautiful canyon Kokomeren. Picnic along the river. Following the road to the village of Kuiruchuk. Installation in a local guest house. Free time to stroll through the mountainous village. Dinner and overnight in a guest house.

Day 7: Kuiruchuk – Bishkek

After a restful night with the local kyrgyz family, we continue our journey. We pass through the Suusamyr Valley, one of the most high valleys of Kyrgyzstan. We drive the pass of Too Ashu at 3586m. Lunch in a restaurant before arriving to Bishkek. Installation in a guesthouse in Bishkek. Dinner in a restaurant in Bishkek. Time to walking and discovery the Kyrgyz capital.

Day 8: Back to home

End of the tour. Transfer to the airport.
